Overview
In 2018, we made a major shift in our business by refocusing our management company primarily on the investment of the capital of the QVT principals and a handful of private investors. Our refocus allows us to operate with a more stable long-term capital base and a more flexible investment mandate that permits us to take more concentrated longer-horizon positions.
QVT originated as a non-traditional proprietary trading group inside an investment bank. Our core team has spent over 15 years working together to develop and implement innovative, fundamental and idiosyncratic trading strategies, many of which make extensive use of internally-developed, proprietary software.
