Our Philosophy

The staffing philosophy at QVT is to employ a select number of exceptionally high-caliber individuals who can apply original thinking to a wide range of investment opportunities, across sectors and around the world. At about 35 employees and partners, QVT strives for a lean organization with a generalist philosophy and an entrepreneurial culture.

The successful candidate is self-motivated and highly analytical. Intellectual curiosity and a proven ability to get things done are important to us. Our team members are drawn from diverse academic backgrounds. Many hold science degrees, including physics, engineering, and computer science. Others come from the liberal arts. What they all share is a strong intellectual interest in understanding complex investment situations and a commitment to the level of work and attention to detail needed to do so.
